- Who/what/where are The Pulp Girls??
The Pulp Girls are sisters Brianna and Cailie, and all our lovely models and customers! We love all manner of lovely things, and sell amazing vintage clothing in our online shop, PULP VINTAGE. We are situated in both southern Connecticut and New York City.
- Where is your store? What do you sell? How can I buy stuff?
Our shop is online only (for now), at http://thepulpgirls.com/. We sell vintage clothing from the 1950’s through the 1990’s, in a whole array of styles, from gypsy, hippie angel to punk grunge rebel! Every item is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece: we have only the ONE, and when it sells, it is gone forever! See the FAQ’s in our shop for more help with purchasing from our shop!
- I want to buy something, but I wish I could see the item differently! If i were to ask you for some different photos simply showing the fit/hang of an item, would you have them?
Yes yes yes! We usually have hundreds of photos from each photo-shoot, so believe me, we will have many more photos of an item! We have also been making a conscious effort to use a straight-out shot for each item in our store. If you do need more photos in order to make your decision, message us here on Tumblr or Facebook, or use the Contact form in our shop, or shoot us an email at thepulpgirls@gmail.com.
- I would love love looove to model in one of your shoots! How can I get involved?
Awesome! Just send us a message on our Facebook or via our contact page on Pulp Vintage, with your name, location, Tumblr URL, age, height, size, shoe size and a head shot and full body shot. (They don’t have to be professional.)
If you fit the look we need, we’ll let you know! However, sometimes, we may wish to go in a different direction. Even if we don’t need you to model and you still want photos taken, we do headshots and portraits of all kinds, so just ask us!
- Where do I have to live to model for you? How old/tall/skinny do I have to be?
It’d be best if you were in the Connecticut area, or New York (City and surrounding area). However, we are saving names of interested peoples from other locations, just in case we happen to be visit their area, or they come to ours, so don’t let location stop you from contacting us!
Any age, height or weight is okay with us! If you’re able to carry yourself with grace and you’re comfortable in front of a camera, we’re happy!
- Who are the girls behind THE PULP GIRLS???
We are sisters Cailie and Brianna! We’re college students who love vintage clothing and everything to do with our store! Talk to us on FB or in our ask box!
- How can I be in a Pulp Girl Spotlight?!
We feature lovely babes in our Pulp Girl Spotlight. In the past, it was a way of getting to know our models, but we’d love to feature our amazing customers as well! So, you can either model for us, or send us photos of you in clothing you bought from us on Pulp Vintage!
- You didn’t credit a photo/my picture/I want my photo taken down.
Sorry! We have a huge huge huge array of photos saved on both of our computers, mainly from random image-liking sites like We Heart It or imgfave, or blogs or just google search, and we have no idea of the original source. If we used your image and you want it credited or removed, just shoot us a message and we’ll be happy to oblige you! Even if it’s not a photo of your own, if you know the original source of an image, I’d be super thrilled to add it to the photo!
